A seasoned banker with almost 13 years of solid experience in this sector, Wajahat started his career in 2007 as Management Trainee Officer at Dhaka Bank Limited where he served for more than three years. He joined The City Bank Limited as Executive Officer in 2010 and was awarded with two promotions for his excellent track record and performance exceeding the expectations of the Management. Every minute detail of nature amazes him and reminds him how small part we are of something vast and immensely infinite.
Wajahat is happily married to Ms. Rabeya Pathan who is daughter of a freedom fighter and a doctor by profession graduating from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College (SBMC), Barisal.

From the inception of the Group of “SSC-97|HSC-99”, Wajahat has been involved with its activities with a view to doing something meaningful for the group members and the society. He strongly believes that our time has come to give back to society with whatever ability we have and our “SSC-97|HSC-99” group can be an effective platform to serve that purpose.
